Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

This position is for a CNC Operator in a job shop environment. The role involves operating CNC Mills/Lathes, primarily using 3-axis machines such as HAAS and Doosan. The operator will need to pull up and select the appropriate program for specific parts, primarily using FANUC controllers. Additionally, the operator will perform first piece inspections using calipers and will be responsible for machine startup.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC Mills/Lathes

Work with 3-axis machines, mainly HAAS and Doosan

Select and run specific programs on the machine

Use FANUC controllers

Perform first piece inspections using calipers

Start up the machineEssential Skills

1 year of CNC operating experience with a mill or a lathe

1 year of working with blueprints

Experience with quality tools such as calipers

Experience loading programs on the machineAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Any CNC setup experience

Ability to read and interpret code

Previous job shop experienceWork Environment

1st shift; Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM. Steel-toed shoes and eye protection are required.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
