Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Hospital in the Myrtle Beach area is seeking a skilled CT PA with EVH experience to join another in assisting their 3 cardiothoracic surgeons. Competitive compensation along with comprehensive, flexible health and benefits package offered. Qualified Candidates:

2 or more years' experience with all routine heart surgery procedures and thoracic procedures

Possess understanding of clinic follow ups and post op outpatient care

Exposure to minimally invasive procedures a plus

Experience in EVH and 1st assist in surgery required

APP will be responsible for daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well as conducting follow-up assessments in the clinic

Expected call schedule of 1:3 HOSPITAL:

ACS verified Level I adult trauma center

DHEC approved Level II pediatric trauma center

4 emergency departments

DNV-GL certified comprehensive stroke center

Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI

Inpatient and outpatient behavioral health unit

Inpatient rehabilitation unit
