Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Health system in New Jersey is seeking a CVS/CTS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an affiliated practice. CTS Program currently has 1 Surgeon and 1 Physician Assistant with additional coverage in place. Must be able to provide and have previous experience with Surgical 1st Assist including VATS and Thoracotomies, Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, Pre-op evaluation of patients and surgery prep, post-op inpatient management in CVICU and Telemetry Floor as well as post-op evaluations in follow-up appointments. Recognized as an STS 3-Star for the CABG Program.

1 Clinic Day per Week w/ remainder being OR and IP Management.

Supportive Administration & Collegial Staff.

Call responsibilities include OR Coverage, Inpatient Management, and Outpatient Phone Calls
