**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic optical wire department as an assembler, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of fiber optic connectors. Utilize magnifying glasses and microscopes to meticulously inspect small plastic connectors for black spots and bubbles. Additionally, you will assemble connectors onto fiber optic cables, crimp them down, and conduct testing to ensure optimal performance. This position involves repetitive tasks with small pieces, requiring both sitting and standing throughout the day, and minimal lifting.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect small plastic connectors using magnifying glasses and microscopes for defects.
+ Assemble connectors onto the ends of fiber optic cables.
+ Crimp connectors and test them for functionality.
+ Work with small parts in a repetitive manner.
+ Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in assembly tasks.
+ Experience using hand tools.
+ Ability to work with small pieces.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Electrical assembly experience is preferred.
+ Experience with PCB or flexible circuit boards.
+ Blueprint reading, electrical wiring, and soldering skills are a plus.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
