**Job Title: Material Handler**

**Job Description**

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for delivering material to the production floor, maintaining the production and warehouse areas, assisting the material control department with receiving material, and identifying and verifying quantities of all incoming material. You will handle, move, and store various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse. Your main duties will include loading and unloading different transport items, recording inventory statuses, and ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist material control department with receiving material

+ Identify and verify quantities of all incoming material

**Work Environment**

This is a very fast-paced work environment where deadlines are crucial. The basic production work area has tight quarters, and eye protection and protective shoes must be worn at all times. Loose clothing is not allowed.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
