Hours: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM & Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM & Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking Manufacturing Associates for temp-to-hire positions with a well-established company located in Lewiston, ME. Manufacturing Associates will support daily production operations in a hands-on, team-driven environment. Success in this role looks like consistent attendance, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step up when production demands increase. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent hire in Lewiston, ME.
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for:
Operating machinery and following standard manufacturing processes
Assisting with production line support, including loading/unloading materials
Following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE (steel-toed shoes are mandatory)
Keeping workstations clean and organized
Working closely with your team to meet daily production goals
Adapting to changing tasks and priorities based on business needs
Participating in training and cross-training as needed
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor is helpful but not required
The ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and complete tasks with attention to detail
A reliable, positive, and flexible attitude
The physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Steel-toed shoes (required on day one)
Important Information About Overtime:
Overtime is mandatory when offered. This means you must be available when OT is scheduled-opting out is not allowed. Typically required on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
Sundays may occasionally be available for optional double-time pay .
Most weeks are four 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour day, but some weeks may require five 10-hour days, depending on workload.
OT is not guaranteed each week-it depends on business needs, which can change. Candidates must plan for OT but understand that it's not always available.
