Must be able to pass a 6G welding test.
Able to read print layout and build vessel.
General Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, above average communication and organizational skills.
Above all must be a team player with high level of dedication.
Piping and tester assembly, basic botting and tore experience.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk up to 90% of the workday; occasional bending, squatting, ascending ladders/stairways, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
Ability to assess weights and judge distance and heights is necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities: * Properly maintains all parts and equipment pertaining to specific work duties.
* Operates equipment used in welding operations including welding machine, weld rod, appropriate safety equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
* Accurately reads prints as required.
* Examines work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straightedge or template to ensure conformance with specifications.
* Dismantles metal assemblies or cut scrap metal, using thermal-cutting equipment such as flame-cutting torch or plasma-arc equipment.
* Climbs ladders or works on scaffolding as required.
