Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Flexible start times; shifts typically 3–7 hours; schedule may vary based on customer demand).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to support our Production and Kitchen Managers at our hot fill & hold commercial kitchen facility. We specialize in crafting high-quality hot sauces, salsas, BBQ sauces, wing sauces, marinara, and other condiments. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
Operate filling and capping equipment to package products accurately.
Label jars/bottles and perform quality control checks.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and production areas.
Support general warehouse duties: packaging, shipping, sorting, and stacking.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Prior food production or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required.
Willingness to perform varied duties as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
