B&D Industrial is looking to hire an Engineering Technician - Level 1 in the Norcross, GA area!

MVR free from a DUI conviction, sentence, or adjudication in the last 3 years

High school graduate or GED

About the role

To construct and wire electrical panels of the highest quality for B&D customers.

Full time, hours vary

Minimal Travel may be required (overnight and day travel)

Responsibilities

Review project bill of materials to become familiar with components.

Measure and cut wire duct and din rail for project panels.

Assist with measuring and marking layout dimensions.

Work with experienced builders to learn proper wiring techniques.

Assist with mounting complete electrical panels in the enclosure.

Assist with mounting enclosure components.

Assist with packaging and preparing completed panels for shipment.

Qualify for Forklift license.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

General housekeeping duties to keep Design & Build Center clean.

Requirements:

3 yr MVR is free from a DUI conviction, sentence, or adjudication

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical

High school graduate or GED.

Physically able to pick up 50-75lbs.

Strong attention to detail.

Able to work while standing for long periods

Must learn and comply with electrical safety procedures

Experience with common hand tools and power tools preferred.

Familiarity with the metric system measurements.

Willingness to learn shop techniques and procedures.

Willingness to work some overtime hours and weekends.
