Job Title: Milling Machinist
Job Description
Join a leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in designing, developing, and supporting highly engineered mechanical actuation components for both commercial and military aircraft. We are seeking skilled and experienced Milling Machinists to perform full CNC machine set-ups and operate milling and turning machines in our Windsor, CT facility.
Responsibilities
Perform full set-ups of CNC machines, with 3-4 set-ups per day.
Operate milling and turning machines to produce high-quality parts.
Operate a minimum of two machines simultaneously.Essential Skills
At least 3 years of experience in performing full machine set-ups.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience running lathe or milling machines.
Aerospace industry experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of G and M codes.
Ability to edit programs as needed.
Familiarity with Okuma and Fanuc controls.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a normal machine shop environment that is loud and noisy, yet super clean. Most machines are water-cooled rather than oil-cooled. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with a 10% differential. Expect plenty of overtime, averaging 20 hours weekly, offering a dynamic and stable work setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
