Sr. Continuous Improvement Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and organization change while leading the deployment of Lean across our rapidly growing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a greenfield environment as they begin their Lean journey and deploy a multisite Lean transformation. This Senior CI Manager will be responsible for driving a culture of Continuous Improvement on the shop floor, working in close collaboration with the corporate leadership team, the local leadership teams, and operational line management. Deploying the Lean business system within all areas of the business across six manufacturing facilitates
Identifying inefficiencies, optimizing business process, and driving improvements
Teaching and coaching employees on Lean principles
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnering with key leaders to drive change that will generate cost savings, inventory reduction, enhanced quality and improved delivery
Creating and tracking strategy deployment KPI Root Cause Countermeasures (e.g. A3, 5 whys)
Training and developing team members on Lean tools and principles
Utilizing a data-driven approach to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making
Leveraging technology platforms to enhance business operations
Leading value stream mapping and transactional process improvements for all key processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance throughput
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Continuous Improvement or similar role
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related
Industry experience in High Volume / High Mix manufacturing
Strong project and change management skills
Proven experience utilizing and deploying Lean tools (Strategy Deployment, Value Stream Mapping, TPI, 6S, Standard Work, FMEA, Problem Solving, Kanban, Visual Daily Management, DMAIC, etc.)
Strong background in PowerBI, Excel VBA Macros, SQL or equivalent data analysis and reporting tools
ERP experience for reporting and process automation
Self-starter with proven ability to drive change and process improvements
Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams and outside vendors and partners
Certified in CSCP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma, and/or Project Management a plus
