2nd Shift Team Leader - Warehouse

Pay is $22.59/hour plus shift premium

Litehouse Foods is seeking a full-time Team Leader to join our team!

The Team Leader obtains optimum efficiency in all crew/dept activities of the warehouse while improving human safety, quality, human performance, food safety, the environment, training, and warehouse performance.

Essential Job Duties

Monitor and coach employees on the importance of being personally responsible for their own safety behavior. Ensure that unsafe conditions are captured and corrected in a timely manner.

Develop crew members by communicating EOs individual and warehouse training plans.

Facilitate communication and consistency between shifts and teams. Conduct shift hand-offs with oncoming shifts.

Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, while following all state, federal and Litehouse regulations and policies.

Drive and lead warehouse team to improve daily performance and quality of shipments in a safe manner. Identify operational issues and partner with supervisors and EO's to implement solutions.

Load and unload materials and product onto or off pallets, skids or lifting device. Load trucks as needed.

May coordinate loads between offsites and plant locations, ensuring production has inventory on-hand as needed at all times.

Ensure all items produced and received to determine if specifications are met.

Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork and documentation. Provide coaching and feedback when errors occur.

Assist in new hire orientation as needed and promote a positive training experience.

Responsibility to adhere to food safety and quality policies, and report concerns to their supervisor. Correct any deviations.

Perform other activities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED strongly preferred

One to three years related experience or training

Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing equipment, work practices and processes.

Ability to work independently

Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Good interpersonal and communication skills. Has ability to build rapport with every level in the facility.

Experience with applying root cause problem solving tools.

Demonstrated ability to learn

Attention to detail by organizing time and resources efficiently

A sense of ownership and pride in their performance and its impact on the company's success.

Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines.
