Job Description
InfoDefense is seeking a seasoned Technical Account Manager (TAM) in theDallas/Fort Worth area to be a trusted advisor and drive customer satisfaction for our customers. A successful candidate must have a strong customer management background with a focus on cyber security and compliance, exceptional written communication skills, and the ability to work independently to implement customer solutions. As a hybrid work position, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to apply their exceptional customer management skills to achieve CMMC compliance.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and the InfoDefense Service Delivery team
Collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to ensure customer success
Provide security consulting and risk assessments
Oversee cyber security program implementation while managing deliverable schedules
Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulations
Coordinate and lead scenario-based incident response exercises
Interpret regulatory and contractual security compliance requirements for customers
Complete vendor security surveys for customers
Define requirements for service-related orders with InfoDefense technology partners
Schedule meetings, create agendas, and document meeting minutes
Qualifications
3 years of customer-facing Technical Account Manager experience
Fundamental understanding of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, or any other regulatory standards
Strong knowledge of network security, Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection
Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
Cyber Incident Response Experience
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred Skills and Experience
Industry Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Network+. CCNA, CEH, CISA, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, Microsoft 365
Military service is a big plus
Travel
Minimal travel on a short-term basis may be required.
