Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our leadership team. This individual will oversee all accounting operations, help guide financial strategy, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our company. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, values collaboration, and brings strong technical expertise to the table.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the accounting team; oversee daily financial operations

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Manage budgeting and forecasting processes; analyze and report on variances

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax filings

Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and risk management

Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices

Lead month-end and year-end close processes

Support external audits and liaise with auditors

Recommend performance benchmarks and KPIs for operational efficiency

Generate financial and operational metrics, including labor and merchandise reporting

Conduct financial analysis to support capital investments, pricing strategies, and business decisions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Proficient in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls

Strong experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
