Stock Condition Surveyor
Description:
Our client, based in Leeds is currently recruiting for Stock Condition Surveyors on a 12-month temporary contract. Our client is an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects worldwide.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rates are:
£20 per flat
£24 per house
£35 1-6 storey blocks
£55 7+ storey blocks
The ideal candidate will have a background in building surveying and also have Stock Condition Surveying experience in social housing properties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately
Using knowledge and understanding of fire safety compliance including approved document part B
Recording all information and data on electronic handheld devices
Liaising and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out
Working in accordance with changing legislations, as well as H&S policies and procedures
Experience required:
Stock Condition Surveying experience for social housing properties
Experience booking in appointments to conduct surveys
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Must hold a full UK driving license
