Jr Model-Based Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required Position The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America's intelligence satellites. Develop. Acquire. Launch. Operate. Apogee's ideal Model-Based System Engineer (MBSE) candidate will help lead the transformation through application of MBSE industry best practices, develop MBSE processes and methodologies to deliver effective mission solutions, and apply MBSE experience to modeling mission systems. What You'll Do Assess engineering artifacts and develop models of mission systems using an MBSE tool suite (DOORS Next Generation, Rhapsody, Cameo, SysML, COTS tools)

Apply systems engineering modeling methodologies to develop mission models

Define and demonstrate the appropriate data standards, data structures, and supporting COTS, GOTS, and Open

Source technologies required to manage the data needs. These items are technical resources in the development of customer mission-based models to support major acquisitions

Contribute to the development and testing of multiple internal tools that are used to optimize operational performance and generate feedback critical to overall system improvement

Perform analysis of product quality using MATLAB and Python, to include validation and verification of modeling and simulation methodology and results, in support of customer requirements Required BS in Engineering, Physics, Programming or Stem Degree

Should understand how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle)

Proficiency with MATLAB and Python
