We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Marketing and Sales departments, ensuring programs and initiatives run smoothly, while providing valuable insights for business planning and execution.
Basic Function
Develop and lead staff of Inside Sales Team to ensure that existing customers are provided with professional and world class service. Support in acquisition of new business/potential customers. Responsible for continuous process improvement. Develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures for the department. The qualified individual is expected to recommend changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs. To perform this job successfully, an individual shall be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan, execute, and accomplish goals. He / she shall be responsible for overseeing all functions of Inside Sales.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support Sales and Marketing in maintaining existing business and acquisition of new business/potential customers/dealers.
Support Sales and Marketing in product and program launches to customers/dealers.
Respond to consumer / end-user inquiries and commercial claim timely and accurately.
Handle all customer/dealer-related inquiries and be a liaison to other departments to ensure all customers are provided with the best service every time.
Manage customer orders through coordination with the team, sales & marketing, and other departments, and/or suppliers to ensure timely acknowledgement and processing of orders, fulfillment, delivery, POS, marketing collaterals, etc.
Troubleshoot customer and order related issues with the team, customers, sales & marketing team, other departments, and/or suppliers. This includes order/fulfillment accuracy, order/shipment delays, product substitutions, long lead time SKUs, production constraint, etc.
Prepare and analyze various reports including but not limited to sales/promotions trend and analysis reports, customer/dealer account reports, customer service/inside sales team performance reports, sales target vs. actual reports, supplier fulfillment performance report, on time delivery report, etc.; establish new report as required for business operations and control; identify key issues and propose solutions to management.
Monitor and update key customers’ contractual terms as required by the contractual terms and/or management requirement. Inform account manager and/or management if there is an issue complying with contractual terms.
Capture and gather market and/or competitive information for sales and marketing.
Ensure strong communication channel between Inside Sales, customers, other departments, and suppliers at all times.
Identify, develop, monitor, and improve operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Inside Sales team.
Direct and train customer service/inside sales team to develop and improve the quality of the team’s function.
Administer direct report employee performance evaluations.
Analyze and control expenditures of the department to conform to budgetary requirements.
Attend and/or conduct meetings and training sessions as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of five years of customer service and/or sales management experience in the industry.
Tire industry knowledge is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in call center implementation and operation desired.
Hands-on experience with automated business systems such as SAP, Oracle eBiz or similar
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
