Summary
The Pricing Analyst will work with team leadership to support our lawyers with structuring, modeling and negotiating client and matter level fee arrangements. In addition, the Analyst with assist with client and matter management, various billing rates processes, Firmwide financial analysis and other initiatives to enhance the strategic pricing goals of the Pricing Team and the Firm.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support in developing rate proposals, alternative fee arrangements, fee estimates, matter budgets and pricing options in response to client requests
Assist in responding to the pricing and financial components of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other business development pitches
Provide support for the annual billing rate setting process and perform ongoing benchmarking analysis and maintenance of standard hourly billing rates throughout the year
Assist with various projects, including analysis of historical matters, to support the pricing and budgeting process
Provide analysis and regular reporting to support client and matter management needs
Assist in the identification, documentation and monitoring of alternative fee arrangements
Develop/enhance financial templates and models to expand upon and streamline existing processes surrounding the Firm’s pricing function
Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. Target Salary Range
$88,000 - $96,000 if located in Illinois

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of 2 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
Advanced capabilities and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
Previous experience working in a client facing position or a professional services firm
