Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its manufacturing client in Columbus, NE. The person will be responsible for managing maintenance activities, ensuring equipment and machinery are well-maintained, reducing operational downtime, and supporting production needs through strong leadership and hands-on support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise the upkeep and operation of equipment and production systems.

Organize and assign maintenance tasks to ensure timely repairs and minimal production delays.

Lead, support, and evaluate maintenance team members, including involvement in hiring and corrective actions.

Ensure effective maintenance practices are followed and aligned with safety and operational goals.

Review and troubleshoot recurring mechanical or electrical issues and develop long-term solutions.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.

Coordinate with production teams to align maintenance schedules with output requirements.

Step in to assist with technical repairs and maintenance work when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field or or equivalent practical experience in maintenance operations.

1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Experience with maintenance management systems, such as SAP, is a plus.

Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems preferred.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other standard computer tools.
