Machine Repair Technician

Warren, MI

Company is a metal stamping service facility

1st Shift 7AM to 3PM

3rd Shift 11PM to 7AM

Must train on days for the 1st month or so

Pay Rate: up to $30/hr (includes a $1.00 shift premium for 3rd shift)

Key Responsibilities:

General maintenance on the shop equipment

Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on assigned duties

Maintain proper oil levels and grease in all machinery and equipment

Perform all equipment repairs in a safe and timely manner

Troubleshoot to determine necessary repairs

Documentation of the activities carried out and the results

Perform routine maintenance on building systems

Clean and assist with shop upkeep.

Job Requirements:

Must be 18+ years old

Must have good communication skills, attendance and be a team player

Be able to squat, crawl, stand and bend for extended periods of time.

Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen, lift 30 lbs.

3+ years general maintenance experience, Mechanical & Hydraulic systems

3+ years knowledge of conveyors, sorting equipment and compressors

Knowledge of General Maintenance processes and methods

Must have Fork Truck experience

Must have your own tools

Knowledge of Lock Out/ Tag Out

Ability to compile information and make decisions

Ability to work under pressure and multitask

Good organizational skills
