Job Description:
As a Bakery Production Associate at Michele’s Granola, you are a key member of our small-batch production team. In this role you will have several distinct and central roles in our kitchen facility including preparing product, baking product, packaging product, and cleaning and dishwashing.
As part of our team, you will have clearly defined tasks to complete during the daily shift. The position involves standing for extended periods of time, repetitive motion, moving at a steady pace, lifting to 50lbs, and pushing up to 150lbs.

Responsibilities of the Bakery Production Associate include:
Arriving on time for the start of each production shift
Adhering to safe work practices, cleaning, uniform, and hygiene standards
Following all established recipes, food handling, baking, packaging and cleaning procedures, including workflow routines
Ensuring consistency in food quality and upholding our high-quality assurance and sanitation standards
Ensuring the maintenance of a clean, sanitary production facility to control allergens and contamination by performing opening, periodic and closing sanitation and cleaning duties, including but not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces, dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
Promptly notifying management of any issues related to production, facility, or equipment.
Other duties as assigned, e.g., assisting with Quality Control programs and facility maintenance
Specific Duties of the Bakery Production Associate include:
Measuring and mixing raw materials according to recipe specifications
Weighing product onto sheet pans according to recipe specifications
Spreading product across sheet pans according to recipe specifications
Loading oven racks, adhering to all pan and rack Quality Assurance guidelines
Baking and Cooling product to specifications
Filling, weighing, labeling and sealing bags of granola to specifications
Packing, labeling, and stocking cases according to specifications
Pre, Mid and End of shift Cleaning and dishwashing
Other duties as assigned
