We are currently seeking Navy Logistics Analyst to join our team PEO IWS 3. This position is hybrid with a 3 day per week on-site requirement at the Washington Navy Yard.
What you’ll do:
Using your skills as mid-level logistics analyst ensure careful analysis and effective communication across the program to support the delivery, acquisition and capabilities of the program.
Responsibilities:
Support program leadership in monitoring costs, schedule and performance of multiple projects
Ensure big-picture strategic ideas are based on technical and data driven solutions
Coordinate and assist with submitted Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILA)checklists
Assist in developing required lifecycle logistics program documentation
Develop support policies, procedures and systems, as well as providing implementation guidance
Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support
Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all domestic logistics actions associated with the life cycle management of weapons systems, subsystems and equipment
Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an institution accredited in the United States
Active DOD Secret security clearance
3-6 years' experience with logistics policy, supply chain or process improvement planning
3 years' experience with Integrated Product Support categories
Experience with DoD logistics, with a preference for prior NAVSEA program office support or active duty
It would be nice to have experience with the PPBE cycle and data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
Compensation Policy:
Salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer. Factors include the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's qualifications, and the contractual terms of the program.
