CDL Delivery Driver

We're looking for a Full-Time CDL Delivery Driver to join our client's team in Hancock County, IL! This individual will operate the company truck to deliver feed from the mill to local farms. The ideal candidate for the CDL Delivery Driver will possess a strong commitment to safe driving practices, demonstrate effective teamwork skills, and be willing to comply with company policies, including those related to safety.

This is a Monday - Friday role, and all deliveries take place during the day time.

The client takes care of their CDL Delivery Drivers with a competitive wage of $23.00 per hour, as well as the following incredible benefits:

Main Responsibilities for the CDL Delivery Driver:

*Operate company-owned feed truck to deliver feed from feed mill to local farms

*Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment before and after loading

*Unloading the truck load at the correct destination and correct bins/warehouse

*Complete and maintain required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

*Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to manager

*Complete written feed delivery reports

*Comply with DOT regulations

*Perform all duties in a safe and timely manner

*Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements for the CDL Delivery Driver:

*Valid CDL

*Must be able to obtain a DOT approved medical certificate

*Must be able to speak, read and write English

*Ability to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders and operate a pallet jack and forklift

*Must meet all DOT requirements and comply with DOT rules and regulations

*Must have the ability to operate vehicle on country rural roads

*Must have the ability to read maps
