Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Automotive Paint Store Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting with overseeing and coordinating the activities of the automotive retail sales team including driver(s). Pay range depending on experience. This is a full-time position through the Hire Power agency. Hire Power offers medical and dental coverage, vacation, holiday pay and a 401(k) plan! Hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Description of Responsibilities: Assists Store Manager in all of the following
Assists in the supervision of a staff of store clerks and delivery drivers and ensures customers are satisfied and that customer needs are fulfilled.
Acts as a salesperson, store clerk, stock clerk and occasional delivery driver if necessary.
Sells company products and services to increase sales volume.
Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
Accounts for all credit card purchases, cash, checks. Sends all to accounting on a daily basis.
Facilitates the flow of products, parts and accessories to and from various departments.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.
Requires 2-3 years of experience in the field. Some college is desirable.
Reports to the store manager.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail, automotive, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to pass drug screening, physical and driving record lookup
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
