JOB SUMMARY:

The Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring that supplies and equipment are delivered in accordance with our safety and quality standards. Truck Drivers deliver locally.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Haul and unload aggregate, landscape and masonry block/materials.

Performs pre-trip inspections of the equipment and material.

Works with the maintenance team to ensure proper maintenance of the equipment and reports any issues early.

Deal with customers, co-workers, and management in a courteous and respectful manner.

Maintains constant awareness of safety, efficiency, and displays a flexible and out of the box thinking mindset with the capability to solve problems.

Comply with all State and Federal driving regulations.

Update and maintain daily driver logs.

Perform all other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A

Moffett/Princeton experience preferred but not required.

Boom/crane experience preferred but not required.

Proven safe driving record and DOT compliance. With 2 years driving experience.

Ability to drive for extended periods and work at the unloading site in varying weather conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Perform all work in accordance with YBP Safety policies.

The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.

Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery.

Daily runs, no overnight loads

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
