We are looking for accounting professionals at all levels, from staff accountants to accounting managers. Specific responsibilities and qualifications will vary by position but may include the following:
General Accounting: Managing day-to-day financial transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close processes.
Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, management reports, and tax filings.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Handling vendor and customer invoicing, processing payments, and resolving discrepancies.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting with the preparation of budgets, financial projections, and reporting on financial performance.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial regulations.
Leadership and Team Development: For those with more experience, leading a small team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and ensuring accurate financial operations.
Qualifications
Entry-Level (Staff Accountant):
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
A strong desire to learn and grow within a family office or private equity environment.
Mid-Level (Senior Accountant, Accounting Team Lead):
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the private equity or family office sector.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, and reconciliation processes.
Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Senior-Level (Accounting Manager, Controller):
5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within private equity or family office environments.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects.
In-depth knowledge of accounting systems, financial modeling, and financial statement preparation.
Proven ability to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and drive financial success.
