Job Purpose
The Asset Clerk is responsible for assisting with asset tracking, documentation, and record keeping across FCC Behavioral Health. This includes tagging and updating asset records, conducting audits, supporting facility moves, and collaborating with the Asset Manager to ensure the agency’s assets are accurately maintained and compliant with standards.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Associate degree or technical certification in business or IT-related field, preferred
Experience with asset tracking or inventory management preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and asset databases
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Travel will be required (75%)
Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
Core Job Duties
Tag and document new assets according to agency procedures.
Maintain accurate records within the agency's tracking system.
Assist in preparing reports and audits.
Ensure recordkeeping supports CARF and DBH standards.
Support the Asset Manager in audits, moves, and asset maintenance projects.
Assist in maintaining floor plans and updating documentation.
Help identify damaged or outdated equipment and report to Asset Manager.
Assist with tracking asset disposals or replacements.
Maintain confidentiality and secure documentation practices.
Communicate with site staff about asset deliveries, updates, and locations.
Support the completion and submission of required administrative forms.
Travel to assist with agency site visits or asset-related projects.
Lift and transport items as needed for inventory, audits, or facility support.
Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
