The Operations Supervisor - Datacenter is a vital role within Network Connex, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions and services to commercial and government clients. This role is focused on instilling the company's culture at the field level, measuring success through customer satisfaction, budget performance, and team morale. The supervisor will oversee Foremen and Lead Technicians, ensuring adherence to quality standards and effective project management.
Responsibilities:
Ensure consistency in delivery among Foremen.
Ensure conformance to Network Connex quality standards.
Ensure effective use and projection of manpower.
Develop good customer relation skills in Foremen.
Develop budget knowledge and budget control practices.
Enhance Foremen's abilities to recognize and procure change orders.
Utilize project management tools to manage projects.
Promote and teach strategic thinking.
Ensure Foremen process paperwork correctly and efficiently.
Establish guidelines for and promote field engineering.
Establish project ownership among Foremen.
Establish the value proposition of the Operations Supervisor to field personnel.
Perform site surveys to augment the Pre-Sales Engineering Department.
Provide project status reports to management.
Demonstrate ability to manage and motivate personnel effectively.
Evaluate Foremen and lead technicians, and provide regular feedback on performance.
Ensure the ITS Operations Department is meeting the goals and objectives of the company.
Requirements:
5 years of related industry experience.
Knowledge of fiber terms and troubleshooting is needed.
Ability to drive a company vehicle throughout the day.
High School Diploma or GED required.
