Production Operator – Needle Grind Department

Location: Staunton, VA

New Positions Created Due to Growth!

Cadence Inc. is expanding, and we’re looking for Production Operators to join our Needle Grind department. If you have a strong attention to detail, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a medical device company that’s making a real impact on patient outcomes, we’d love to hear from you!We are offering Flexible Shift Options - Choose the Shift That Works for You Option 1: Traditional Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

Work 5 Days (8-hour shifts) – Choose from:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11 PM

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11 PM - 7 AM

Includes full benefits eligibility Option 2: Work 32 Hours, Get Paid for 40 Hours!

Work a Weekend Shift (one of the options below) + one 8-hour shift Monday - Thursday

Day Weekend Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 11 AM – 11 PM

Night Weekend Shift: Friday & Saturday, 11 PM – 11 AM

Includes full benefits eligibility Option 3: Work 24 Hours, Get Paid for 30 Hours!

Weekend Only – Choose from:

Day Weekend Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 11 AM – 11 PM

Night Weekend Shift: Friday & Saturday, 11 PM – 11 AMWhat You’ll Do

Set up & operate CNC-controlled and semi-automatic machines

Monitor quality and inspect products using precision measurement tools

Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues as needed

Maintain accurate production records in digital systems

Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with operating proceduresWhat We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

Machine operation experience (CNC experience a plus!)

Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

Basic computer skills (data entry, quality tracking)

Good manual dexterity for handling small parts

Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed

Team player mindset with strong communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with quality control systems/software

Understanding of technical drawings & specifications

Strong mechanical aptitude & troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements:

Work often involves manipulating small parts and operating controls with precision.

Good manual dexterity is essential for handling tools, adjusting machine settings, and placing/removing workpieces.

Machines may require physical effort to set up, adjust, and operate. Operators may need to lift, position, or secure heavy workpieces, tools, or machine components.

Work can be repetitive and may involve standing for long periods. Candidates should have the stamina to sustain focus and perform tasks consistently throughout a shift.Why Join Cadence?
