The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering in the Statler College at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Research Assistant.
About the Opportunity
The Research Assistant will be required to perform modeling, simulation and control studies using MATLAB/Python.
What You'll Do
Perform modeling, simulation and control studies for a pharmaceutical process system. Such studies will include (but will not be limited to) the development of models in MATLAB/Python.
Perform literature review and write a manuscript/technical report on the obtained results.
Pay Grade:15
Length of Assignment: Approximately 6 Months
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
0-6 months experience with chemical engineering modeling and programming.
Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge in chemical engineering modeling and programming at the senior level.
Knowledge of MATLAB/Python.
Knowledge of software/programming.
