We are seeking a dedicated professional to ensure excellence in process engineering within our Client facility. This role is crucial for maintaining safety, efficiency, and innovation in our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop guidelines for operating facilities with recommendations on process systems design, operational practices, and controls.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight any exceedances.
Collect data and advise on exceedances of Safe Integrity Limits (SOL).
Independently develop process simulations for system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Execute optimization plans in line with company goals.
Train plant operations personnel in troubleshooting process issues.
Create process monitoring tools to enhance production and efficiency.
Provide preliminary cost estimates and schedules for capital and facility upgrades.
Manage the technical Management of Change (MOC) process.
Lead Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) and Hazard and Operability Reviews (HAZOP).
Facilitate Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
Participate in process safety and technical studies, such as alarm management.
Conduct incident investigations to provide solutions and corrective actions.
Support Commercial Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments.
Provide engineering support for commissioning, start-up, and operation of new units.
Participate in audits as a technical resource.
Conduct technical training for operations staff as needed.
Collaborate with Contractor's Process Engineering Lead for design guidance.
Facilitate plant debottlenecking studies and propose design solutions. Qualifications
Knowledge of engineering systems, calculations, applications, and operations methods.
Ability to comprehend design specifications, standards, and contracts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Research skills leading to improved process safety and reliability.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing process-related problems.
Understanding of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process flow diagrams (PFDs), and control narratives. Benefits
