Working with a business analyst and/or the business owner, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific business projects primarily with our SharePoint team, ensuring consistency with the company's strategy, commitments, and goals.
Responsibilities:
Working with the SharePoint product owner and business owner to define the project scope, milestones, goals, and deliverables
Working with the SharePoint product owner to prioritize the team's work within its available capacity
Collaborating with business and SharePoint team resources to break the project into proper phases and clearly identify deliverables for each phase
Defining project tasks and resource requirements from various in-house teams
Developing project plans at the task, milestone, and resource level
Tracking project against plan-anticipating events that may require a contingency plan, recommending corrective action, and ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed
Ensuring that issues are properly identified, documented, tracked, and resolved
Providing management, direction, and support to the project team Qualifications:
2+ years of project management experience and/or education working on projects of various sizes and complexity
Experience working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment-able to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
Strong, clear communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation): persuasive, adaptable, encouraging, and motivating
An independent learner with an eye for detail
Prior experience working with SharePoint, a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Project, a plus
Knowledge and experience with Agile project management methodology, a plus
Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS), a plus
A background in financial services, a plus
