Summary:
You will be part of the National In-building PMO RF Design team interfacing with submarket teams, enterprise sales teams and senior leadership teams. You will help build the foundation that keeps Client's in front of the competition. You will be designing, managing the implementation of enterprise in-building projects and distributed antenna systems. These projects require interaction at the Director/VP level and development of Executive dashboards and presentations.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
iBwave Certification and practical experience with iBwave
Extensive knowledge of FCC Emissions and RF Safety guidelines
Proficiency in RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roof master/Roof view
Expert in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Nortel, Client, and/or Nokia infrastructure
Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field.
This individual needs to be experienced in RF Design for Indoor Systems.
Experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems required
Expertise with prediction and Mapping tools (Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, Windcatcher)
An in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the RF Engineering elements that affect the decisions they are making or recommending
An end-to-end understanding of the systems they are making decisions on and the technologies that are driving them
A firm grasp and hands-on knowledge of the tools they are using as well as understanding the range and limitations of those tools
Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
JOB DUTIES:
Support the National in Building team in reviewing in Building designs (in iBwave format) and completing the required RF paperwork per project.
Filing 911 and regulatory paperwork for all projects assigned to you
Team up with experienced RF Design engineers to manage projects throughout the country
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry
2 to 3 years of experience in RF Design
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $62.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.
