JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary:
Responsible for managing oncology tissue IVD assay on market and global expansion.
Responsibilities:
Business Planning and Strategy
Defines and maintains the strategy and business plan for oncology tissue comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) IVD assay
Works with Commercial stakeholders to plan and execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Partners with product marketing, medical affairs and other teams to define and obtain alignment on strategies to enable product adoption
ssesses market needs and gaps, opportunities, and trends, and competitive landscape
Product Lifecycle Management:
Responsible for on market product support and global expansion of the IVD CGP assay
Serves as customer advocate and product management representative on core teams; drives market requirements and tradeoff decisions
Ensures efficiency and coordination of portfolio activities with other product managers
Partners with Segment and Regional Marketing teams to provide guidance, input, and support for product updates and launches
Cross-functional Leadership:
Provides vision and serves as key subject matter expert for oncology tissue CGP assays and related strategy across the organization
Establishes and maintains relationships with key customers and partners
Requirements
Experience developing, launching and sustaining molecular tests in the LDT or IVD markets
Strong knowledge of oncology molecular diagnostics testing market and applications
Understanding of clinical customers, laboratory workflows and validation activities, from sample to result, as well as downstream activities through patient reporting
Understanding of global regulatory and reimbursement considerations
Knowledge of genomics and next generation sequencing, preferred
bility to own both long-term strategy and executional detail
bility to solve complex problems informed by robust analysis and multiple data points
Experience conducting market research, survey analysis, voice of customer, and other foundational marketing and product management activities
Experience creating market models and sales projections, and setting pricing policies
Experience leading cross-functional teams, and demonstrated ability to influence across the organization at all levels
Exceptional time and project management skills and ability to independently prioritize competing requests
Strong knowledge of Excel and business modeling
Strong written, communication and presentation skills

BS or BA in engineering, marketing, or genomics-related field; MBA preferred
3+ years in product management, preferably molecular testing
5+ years of experience in marketing, sales or other customer-facing role in Life Sciences or Clinical field; advanced degree can substitute for some work experience
