Saint Luke's East's Emergency Department is looking for an experience RN to join our team! We are dually certified through the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and AMI Center; we offer 24/7 cardiovascular interventions through our STEMI program.

We currently have an opportunity for an RN to work in our busiest ED throughout Saint Luke's.

Shift: Part Time Mids 12-12

Ideal candidates will have previous RN experience working in an Emergency Department; a minimum of 1 year RN experience is preferred, however 2-5 years is preferred. Strong teamwork and effective communication skills are essential.

Candidates selected may have to work a schedule different from what they were hired into during their orientation.

Job Description

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
