Job Summary: The Manager of Learning & Development is responsible for overseeing staff training and development throughout the organization, collaborating with all departments to ensure staff are properly trained throughout the employee life cycle.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assess training needs across departments and develop strategies to address training gaps

Design, develop, implement, and track training plans to ensure staff are up to date on required trainings

Research and recommend training programs, contacting providers and registering staff

Create training materials and processes

Communicate process changes to team and work to ensure processes are followed

Conduct surveys/assessments to gauge the effectiveness of programs

Collaborate interdepartmentally to review, assess, and oversee internal training processes to ensure quality standards are met

Develop and report on training metrics

Partner with vendors to schedule trainings and register employees

Deliver training on specific topics when needed

Other duties as assigned Requirements

Competencies

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues

Detail-oriented

Ability to utilize, adapt, and deliver training content to individuals based on learning style

Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Self-starter

Creative problem-solver Education, experience, certifications

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or related field

5 plus years of experience assessing, developing, and implementing staff training Physical and mental demands

Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone and email

Manual dexterity

Near visual acuity

Prolonged sitting while viewing a computer monitor

Frequent typing and use of keyboard/mouse

Salary Description

$75-82,000 per year
