Position Title : College Intern (PN 20093800)
Internship Overview
The Ohio Department of Medicaid is seeking a College Intern to join our Fiscal Operations office. The College Intern will assist our Fiscal team with a variety of key projects and work related to ODM's 2026/2027 biennial budget process and the beginning of State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2026, including:
Tracking federal budget proposals that might impact the Medicaid program
Tracking state budget proposals that might impact the Medicaid program
Preparing, formulating, and tracking fiscal impact statements on federal and/or state statutes and policies
Analyzing and formulating revenue and expenditure data for monitoring and reporting purposes
Reconciling payment and data issues
Federal grant management and reporting
Desk reviews and analyses of cost reports
Receipt of checks/revenue and other mail
Preparing deposit transactions
Running reports in Cognos BI
General ledger adjustments/entries
