Who You Are

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dermatology team as a Dermatologist RN. The ideal candidate will support the dermatologist in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with medical and cosmetic dermatologic procedures, providing patient education, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This role requires a strong clinical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

What You'll Do

Assist the dermatologist with medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, cryotherapy, chemical peels)

Prepare patients for procedures, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and ensuring informed consent

Administer medications and injections (e.g., local anesthesia, biologics, corticosteroids) as directed

Perform wound care, dressing changes, and suture removals

Provide patient education on pre- and post-procedure care, skincare routines, and treatment plans

Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Ensure sterile field setup and instrument sterilization in compliance with infection control standards

Triage patient calls and concerns, including prescription refills, test results, and follow-up instructions

Monitor inventory and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and organized

Support clinical staff and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered work environment What You Bring

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [State]

Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience (dermatology, plastics, or aesthetic medicine strongly preferred)

Proficiency in assisting with dermatologic procedures and use of EMR systems

Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Professional demeanor with a patient-first attitude

Six months of Dermatology back office experience REQUIRED.

MUST be able to Scribe in EMA/ModMed EHR,

Surgical assisting experience preferred, but not required.

Cosmetic procedures/product sales a plus, but not required.

Set up and sanitize exam rooms, clean instruments.

Must have great rapport with other staff and patients.

Maintain Pathology Logs/call back patients with results. What We Offer
