Job - Program Manager Tech 5
Location: ONSITE 5 days, in WASHINGTON DC (Reston, VA location) and they would expect the candidate to live within 30 miles of the Reston location, Expected to be a full 18-month contract
Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: This role will be working on the Sovereign Cloud Security Team/US Government.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to supporting non-commercial Coud security related to the US government. This role will include writing policy documents, manage exceptions, and resolve tickets in a ticketing system. Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports. Responsible for assessing Azure services for conformance to internal standards, process, and procedures (SPPs). Triage exceptions to SPPs based upon operational risk and assist supported teams through the exception and risk determination process. Develop and implement a method to track and manage findings for trend analysis and variations.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 80% collaborative work and 20% heads down.
Candidate will be responsible for processing and managing Security exceptions in the Microsoft USG classified clouds and must possess a TS/SCI with FSP security clearance.
Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field of Cyber Security.
• Degrees or certifications required: NO degree is required to be eligible for this role. TOP SECRET US GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED. MUST BE A US CITIZEN. Must be within 30 miles of office.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with gaps or loss of clearance would not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience in Cyber and/or Cloud Security. Previous work with Government/high level security access. A tech-based background is helpful. Microsoft experience is great, not required.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on solutions' accuracy, volume, task completion, and milestone achievements.

Drive programs/projects from project initiation through delivery. Interface with clients on technical and business issues. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints. Provide program/project schedules and status reports. "
