Ivans, a division of Applied Systems, is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to help build new & innovative solutions for insurance carriers leveraging AI-powered automation to improve user workflows.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. The ideal candidate will possess a strong product sense and the capacity to translate customer discovery into actionable product strategy and feature roadmap. You’ll also act as a cross-functional leader between engineering, data science, design, research, and marketing teams to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

What You’ll Do

Defines the vision and roadmap for a feature area or a product.

Provides data-driven insights on product performance and identifies areas for improvement, demonstrating a higher level of analytical skills and strategic thinking.

Conducts comprehensive market research and competitive benchmarking to identify customer needs or product gaps, showing a higher level of strategic thinking.

Performs user research and testing to understand needs and pain points, demonstrating an advanced understanding of user-centric design.

Employs advanced techniques to explore user needs and gain a deeper understanding of the customer.

Defines product requirements and specifications for one or more features or a feature area, demonstrating attention to detail and strategic thinking.

Leads the development and execution of product strategies for one or more features or a feature area, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking.

Translates insights into recommendations for feature enhancements, showing strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ensures feature delivery creates a connected customer journey, demonstrating a customer-centric approach.

Perform other duties as assigned related to product innovation.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

Has built products 0-1 before.

5 – 7 years of experience in Product Management, or Software Engineering.

Understanding of product management principles.

Experience with writing user stories and defining requirements for data and APIs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in storytelling and articulating data value.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively managing priorities and dependencies across teams.

Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Business Administration, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

Additionally, you may have:

Understanding of commercial insurance data (policy, claims, underwriting).

Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to build AI-driven products.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA.
