We have an opening for a Cabinet Maker at our Manlius, NY facility.

Position Overview: The Fine Mill Utility A Operator will provide a high level of service to ensure employee, customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction.

The Fine Mill Utility A Operator does this by the operation of various mechanical and some highly sophisticated computer integrated machines which require the operator to perform all duties related to the set-up, operation, basic maintenance of the equipment and may be required to run one or more machines during long cycle times.

Job Responsibilities: Identify a variety of wood species products.

Reports to their supervisor for direction daily and promptly report any problems.

Read, comprehend, and fulfill production tickets.

Use supplied schedules to achieve departmental goals.

Read and interpret drawings.

Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy, as well as efficiency of run.

Use problem solving skills to achieve goals set.

Correctly employ the use of jigs or fixtures as required.

Inspect and change tooling as needed for the engineered requirements along with inspecting tooling before use.

Clean inside and outside of machine daily.

Identify dull tooling and work with the Tool Room to facilitate service as needed.

Set up work in the safest, most efficient manner per specifications and when no other jobs are noted as needed line up jobs in a manner that minimizes set up time.

Conduct any and all preventative maintenance per machine specifications.
