Sr. Software V&V Engineers

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Software VV Engineers for a Contract job with a client in Rochester, NY. The ideal Candidate must have strong VV experience in FDA-regulated environments and be able to design manual test procedures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve system defects and support product launches.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Software VV Engineers job responsibilities include:

Designing and executing requirements-based manual test procedures

Validating software in compliance with FDA and medical device regulations

Identifying, documenting, and managing software defects

Collaborating with cross-functional teams for defect resolution and product improvements

Participating in test planning, formal reviews, and global team meetings

Desired Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, or related discipline

Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in a medical device environment

Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 standards

Proficiency in software VV, defect tracking tools, and configuration management

Experience writing test plans, cases, and reports within the software test cycle

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Pay Details: $47.00 to $50.00 per hour
