Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Instructional Designer for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. You will be responsible for creating engaging eLearning and instructor-led content, collaborating with SMEs, and managing multiple instructional design projects simultaneously.

Rate Range: $42/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Instructional Designer job responsibilities include:

Designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning solutions across multiple modalities, including eLearning and instructor-led training.

Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Utilizing tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Creative Cloud to build interactive and visually compelling training materials.

Managing multiple learning development projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Ensuring SCORM compliance and deploying training content to Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Applying adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to improve learner engagement and knowledge retention.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in instructional design for adult learners.

Proficiency in using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with SMEs and manage multiple projects effectively.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour
