Are you passionate about functional design and working closely with customers to bring critical vehicles to life? We're looking for a Detail-Oriented Emergency Vehicle Layout Designer to join our team in creating safe, efficient, and fully customized fire and emergency vehicle compartment layouts.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate directly with customers, Customer Account Specialists, engineers, and installers to design vehicle layouts that maximize equipment storage, safety, and functionality.

Lead pre-construction meetings to gather specifications and equipment requirements.

Create accurate and visually clear layout sketches used for estimating costs, build times, and customer approval.

Translate customer requirements into custom equipment mounting designs that meet industry standards.

Work cross-functionally with departments including engineering, fabrication, assembly, and sales to ensure designs are executed as planned.

Maintain strong communication and relationships with both internal teams and external clients.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in vehicle layout design, mechanical design, or related fields.

Strong understanding of 3D modeling or CAD software (preferred).

Ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into functional, attractive layouts.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge of fire & emergency vehicle components or equipment mounting is a plus.
