Sr. Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile sub-ledger accounts with general ledger balances to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare detailed financial statements that align with organizational goals.

• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls through risk assessments and targeted reviews.

• Support budget planning processes and conduct monthly variance analyses.

• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules to ensure proper tracking.

• Assist in performing initial evaluations of internal controls for compliance.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to optimize team performance.

• Utilize advanced accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Excel to manage financial data.

• Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards in all financial processes.• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience with a proven track record.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, Sage, or comparable platforms.

• Expertise in general ledger management and journal entries.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis.

• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and reporting.

• Ability to assess and implement effective internal controls.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills for managing teams.
