Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator/Engineer to join our team in Hamilton, New Jersey. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an innovative IT Services and Support team, providing top-tier solutions to enhance organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a proactive approach to IT processes, and outstanding communication skills to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level technical support to executives and VIPs, ensuring smooth technology experiences during meetings, travel, and events.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement, repairs, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
• Maintain hardware and software inventories to ensure secure, standardized, and up-to-date systems.
• Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement repeatable workflows, such as onboarding and device imaging.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to macOS, Windows OS, and enterprise collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Office 365, and Slack.
• Coordinate and manage high-production events, including all-hands meetings, handling AV and technical aspects to ensure success.
• Utilize ServiceNow for IT service management to track incidents, streamline ticket handling, and optimize processes.
• Contribute to IT team initiatives by proposing innovative solutions and participating in ongoing system improvements.
• Automate workflows using scripting or low-code tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor less experienced team members and assist with IT project management when required.• Strong expertise in macOS and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in identity and device management tools such as Azure AD, Jamf, and Intune.
• Experience with enterprise collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, and Atlassian products.
• Proven ability to provide confidential, high-touch support for senior leaders and adapt to shifting priorities under pressure.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for IT service management and incident tracking.
• Solid knowledge of network and firewall technologies, including Cisco and Citrix.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD Connect.
• Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, backup technologies, and IT equipment inventory management.
