Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Or 3rd Shift

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machine #1 in the Raymond cell, utilizing your CNC machine experience to manipulate offsets efficiently. Your expertise with calipers will be essential for measuring machined parts, ensuring precision and quality.

Responsibilities

Operate machine #1 in the Raymond cell.

Manipulate offsets on CNC machines.

Use calipers to measure parts accurately.

Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and other specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.

Set up requirements and sequence of operations using lathe and mill.

Complete inspection reports and ensure compliance with quality standards.Essential Skills

1+ years' experience in CNC machine operation.

1+ years' experience in manufacturing or production.

Proficiency in using calipers for part measurement.

Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals.Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years of machining experience.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.

Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Primarily standing for up to six hours per day, with some duties requiring short periods of sitting. Capable of lifting 0-50lbs in the proper ergonomic position. Steel-toed or composite-toed footwear is mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Binghamton, New York.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
