Stockroom/Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Stockroom/Inventory Control Specialist for a 1st shift, contract position in Palm Bay, FL. This is an onsite, entry-level role with training provided—perfect for candidates eager to gain experience in inventory and logistics operations within a fast-paced environment.

Rate Range: $17/hr to $20/hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Stockroom/Inventory Control Specialist Key Responsibilities:

Organize and maintain stockroom inventory in accordance with company procedures

Receive and issue inventory to both internal and external customers

Count and verify inventory in the stockroom to ensure accuracy

Maintain traceability of inventory components

Communicate clearly using Microsoft Outlook and Teams

Support other business areas as needed to meet shifting priorities

Follow detailed work instructions under close supervision

Desired Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

0 to 3 years of relevant experience (stockroom, inventory control, warehouse)

Ability to stand/walk for up to 9 hours and lift up to 40 lbs

Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow structured processes

Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
