We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Florida, on a long-term contract basis. Responsibilities:
• Provide on-call support for operational systems and applications, including troubleshooting and resolution of incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and maintain accurate documentation, including runbooks and operational guides.
• Collaborate with product teams to design and implement security and business solutions.
• Manage access controls and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Provision, tune, and automate systems and applications to optimize performance.
• Update and enhance system monitoring tools to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Lead architectural reviews and design efforts while participating in planning meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Support large-scale web and mobile applications in a dynamic enterprise environment.
• Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Cloudwatch, Splunk, and Grafana.
• Drive operational improvements to minimize guest-impacting incidents and outages.• Proven experience in systems engineering within a DevOps culture, supporting enterprise-scale web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, and Node.js.
• Expertise in configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible, and Rundeck.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Splunk, Cloudwatch, and AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ and PubSub.
• Experience with load balancers and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
