Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC HAAS Mill and Lathe machines. You will make minor edits and adjustments based on blueprints and customer specifications, while ensuring routine tool adjustments and replacing old tooling. Additionally, you will perform routine operator maintenance and operational checks, such as tool sharpening, machine oiling, and checking fluid levels and air pressure. Your role will also involve reading and interpreting machine shop blueprints and accurately using measurement tools to check parts.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC HAAS Mill and Lathe machines efficiently.

Make minor edits and adjustments based on blueprints and customer specifications.

Perform routine tool adjustments and change out old tooling as needed.

Conduct routine operator maintenance and operational checks, including tool sharpening and machine oiling.

Read and interpret machine shop blueprints accurately.

Use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, verniers, height gages, and bore gages to check parts.Essential Skills

Proficient in CNC operation, particularly HAAS and Fanuc systems.

Experience with Mill and Lathe machines.

Ability to make edits for production runs.

Knowledge of machining processes and machine shop practices.

Ability to read machined part blueprints.

Prior experience in final inspection.

Proficient in shop math.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic CNC operating skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
